今回も支障なく、しかも、いつもより一日二日早く届きました。
雙江孟庫茶廠の2種、大雪山餅茶 明前春尖と七子餅茶 孟庫春尖は、どちらもさすがの貫禄という印象です。
明前春尖は解説通り、昌泰ブランドの庚辰記念餅に近い印象です。溌剌一方の早春茶が熟成してこなれはじめてきたという感じでしょうか。年数の違いか、製茶の違いか、大雪山の個性なのかわかりませんが、庚辰記念餅よりストレートな香りです。グレードの高い茶葉ならではの旨みからいっても、出来立ての頃は、下関ブランドの茶王青餅のような風味だったのではないかと想像しました。
しかし、好みから言えば、孟庫春尖です。風味に複雑さと厚みがあります。香りは蜜香を主体に、荷香に近い香りもします。甘みも明前春尖より強く、年数の割にはしっかりした苦味もあります。ミネラル感の強さは言うまでもありません。あくまで個人的な好みですが、プーアル生茶に求めるものが、煙味を除いて全てあり、期待以上の美味しさに今すっかりハマっています。
